Laser Marker Integration
This gage station includes a laser marker to etch workpiece identification before the part leaves the cell. A robot places the workpiece on a pneumatic shuttle that enters the laser enclosure. The laser mark can dynamically produce a serial number and additionally an error code based on an out-of-tolerance measurement determined by the gage station. Fumes and dust produced from laser marking are exhausted through a three-state HEPA air cleaner to maintain a safe air quality around machine operators.
In addition to designing laser marking part nests, we can also design the matching robot end-of-arm tooling for your automated robot cell to guarantee compatibility! Learn more about our robot end-of-arm tooling here.
